HyperTrader is where I test trading ideas on perpetual futures without letting myself get fooled. The interesting part isn’t any single strategy — it’s the discipline layer that sits around all of them.

Every idea starts as a written, pre-registered hypothesis: what I think the edge is, how I’ll measure it, and what would prove me wrong. It gets backtested, then forward-graded on live data in a shadow tier where it trades on paper and I watch how it actually behaves. Only after it clears hard, pre-set gates does it get anywhere near real execution. Most ideas never make it — and that’s the system working, not failing.

What it does

  • A hypothesis register: ideas written down before they’re tested, so I can’t quietly move the goalposts later.
  • Backtesting plus a forward shadow-grader that scores strategies on fresh data.
  • Graduation gates that a strategy has to pass before promotion, and a dashboard to watch the whole pipeline.

This page describes the method, not results. It reports no positions, no account figures, and no returns — the point of the project is the process that keeps me honest, and that’s the part worth showing.
