What you deploy
A bookkeeping system that runs alongside your business instead of a shoebox of receipts and a panicked spreadsheet in the spring. It keeps the books in a local database on your own machine, and an AI assistant does the logging, categorizing, and chasing of missing paperwork.
What it does for you
Every expense, payment, invoice, and transfer gets recorded when it happens, with the receipt attached to the entry it belongs to and a category that maps to the schedule your return actually uses. Nothing sits in a vague “other” bucket — anything genuinely ambiguous is flagged for you to decide rather than guessed at.
The part that matters at tax time: the answer to “what was this charge, and why was it deductible?” is already written down, with the document attached, months before anyone asks.
What you can build from there
The categories, the entities, and the rules are yours to define. It ships as the pattern — a books database, a receipt store, and an assistant that knows how to keep both current — so you can point it at a consultancy, a storefront, a rental, or a one-person LLC without rewriting the core.
Deployment shape
Self-hosted from a repo. Your books, your receipts, and your statements stay on hardware you control — no bookkeeping subscription, and no uploading a year of financial records to someone else’s cloud to find out what you owe.
Where it stands
Early access. It runs my own LLC’s books daily. The packaging work is stripping out what’s specific to my entity and my state, so the rules and categories are something you configure rather than inherit. Join the waitlist for the self-host release.
The fine print
It keeps records and drafts the picture; it does not file anything for you, and it is not a substitute for a tax professional. Deciding how something is treated stays with you and whoever advises you.
