My algo fired four times on AIXI. To short a stock you have to rent the shares first. Twice the borrow cost 7 and 15 cents a share, too expensive to take. Twice my broker had no shares at all.
My paper version, which trades the same signals with fake money, went green on all four. A signal you can’t get the shares for isn’t really a signal.
